Congratulations to the 2015 OACES award winners! Outgoing OACES President John Vial announced three award winners at the OACES Business Meeting in October:
Surveyor of the Year: Carl Clinton (Clackamas) for his engagement in the legislative process and advocacy for the priorities of Oregon’s County Surveyors.
Engineer of the Year: John Vial (Jackson) for his leadership of OACES during the legislative session and patient communication with Commissioners and the Legislature about the need for increased transportation funding, particularly for our poorest counties.
Award of Merit: Tom Fellows (Umatilla) for being the catalyst for the OACES funding redistribution proposal, and his continued work to ensure the proposals success.
