The AOC Annual Conference brings together county decision makers from across the state of Oregon for three days in November – the week before Thanksgiving.
Each year, this event provides attendees with a dynamic educational experience including opportunities to network, discover innovative ideas, and collaborate with peers. In addition to an energizing educational program, the conference also provides opportunities to learn more about AOC programs and services, network with exhibitors, and connect with state and federal agency leadership and staff.
During the Annual Conference, AOC officers are elected, the annual business meeting is held, and valuable informational on a number of issues are presented. The final night of conference is devoted to the annual County Product Tasting Reception where counties contribute refreshments from home for all to enjoy.
The Annual Conference also includes New Commissioner Orientation in even years – or the Sophomore Seminar in odd years.
