Another deadline came and went February 20. This deadline marked the final day for a bill in its second chamber to be scheduled for a work session if it resides in a policy committee, further narrowing the list of bills remaining for consideration by the Legislature.

The final deadline now looms for policy committees. By February 25, any bills in policy committees that have not been voted out of committee in their second chamber will die.

This deadline does not apply to joint committees, or House and Senate rules or revenue committees.
