Funding Opportunity Announcement

Feasibility Study Grants

 Applications Due by 5 p.m., October 14, 2016

The Oregon Water Resources Department’s Water Resources Development Program is currently soliciting grant applications for water conservation, reuse and storage feasibility studies.

Application materials are available by clicking here or download online, and are due by 5 p.m. October 14, 2015.

The goal of the Water Resources Development Program is to help individuals and communities address instream and out-of-stream water needs now and into the future. Feasibility Study Grants provide dollar-for-dollar match to cover qualifying costs of studies that evaluate the feasibility of a proposed conservation, reuse or storage project that appears to have merit but is lacking important details necessary to determine whether or not to proceed with implementation. A feasibility study focuses on helping to answer the essential question of, “should we proceed with the proposed project idea?” All activities of the study must be directed toward helping answer this question.
