Meetings will be held around the state, plus an online open house will be available
SALEM – Public transportation connects many communities in Oregon, provides options for travelers, and often serves as the only way for people to get where they need to go. An updated Oregon Public Transportation Plan, or OPTP, will provide a statewide foundation for decisions that state and local governments make about public transportation. ODOT is sharing the plan’s draft vision and goals and inviting the public to discuss the challenges and opportunities for public transportation at meetings around the state in September and October. The online open house will accept comments from Sept. 7 to Oct. 28 and can be accessed at www.oregon.gov/ODOT/TD/TP/Page
