The Joint Transportation Committee did not meet this week. The Accountability Workgroup did meet to review a website that ODOT is developing to track STIP and Connect Oregon projects state wide through design, construction and completion. The prototype is based on a map of Oregon, with projects shown. Clicks on the project take viewers to multiple layers of information related to cost/budget, on-time delivery, anticipated benefit to the system, etc.
Several legislative concepts related to the funding and accountability packages are currently in the drafting stage, and it is anticipated that these will be introduced during the week of May 8th in a meeting of the full committee.
