ATTENDANCE AT THE AOC 2021 ANNUAL CONFERENCE

AOC is offering in-person attendance at its 2021 Annual Conference in Lane County, Oregon, November 16-18 in compliance with state regulations and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidance. Following public meetings requirements, AOC is offering a no cost, virtual attendance opportunity for the 2021 AOC Annual Business Meeting, Thursday, November 18 from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. (PST). All other conference offerings will not be available for virtual attendance. Access information for the 2021 AOC Annual Business Meeting will be made available on the AOC Calendar.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

All cancellations of conference registration, purchase of meals, and special events need to be sent in writing to the Association of Oregon Counties (AOC) at events@oregoncounties.org. Each conference registration cancellation received by October 31 at midnight Pacific Standard Time will receive a refund. All refunds will be issued minus a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations received after October 31 at midnight Pacific Standard Time will be refunded at the discretion of AOC and less any expenses incurred by AOC.

NO-SHOWS

Refunds will not be granted for no-shows (registrants who do not attend the conference with no prior notice of cancellation).

VIRTUAL CONFERENCE

AOC is currently planning for an in person annual conference. Should the annual conference transition to a virtual conference for any reason, all paid registrations and paid booth fees will be transitioned to virtual registrations and a virtual exhibit. There will be no automatic refund for registrations or for booths. If a participant would like to cancel their registration, the registration is subject to the cancellation and refunds clause above. If a sponsorship has been paid for, but no virtual alternative can be agreed upon, all exhibitor payments will be held and applied to the 2022 conference. AOC does not assume responsibility for any additional costs, charges, or expenses; to include, charges made for travel and lodging that may be associated with a transition to a virtual conference.
