The Department of State Lands (DSL) is currently engaged in a number of rulemaking efforts that could be of interest to counties. DSL will be holding several public hearings in May on rules pertaining to:
- permits for maintenance dredging,
- management of state-owned waterways,
- and recreational placer mining.
