Meyer invites proposals that will further our vision of nurturing a resilient natural environment, while simultaneously supporting the well-being of Oregon’s diverse cultures and communities.
Through this funding opportunity, Meyer will prioritize investing in efforts that protect and improve the health and resiliency of Oregon’s environment, while addressing the systems and structures in our communities that create unfair advantages for some groups and disadvantages for others in their access to a healthy environment. Meyer will look for opportunities to support systems change — efforts aiming to alter the status quo — and create new relationships, power structures, and ways of doing business that align with Meyer’s Healthy Environment Portfolio vision. Meyer values holistic approaches that integrate community well-being, economic vitality and stewardship of our natural systems.
Meyer will invest in organizations and collaboratives with a high capacity for positive environmental results, vision and innovation, engaging their constituents in solutions, alliance building, strategic communications, and diverse, inclusive and effective leadership.
