The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) is reminding all counties and cities that as part of the new transportation package (HB 2017) they are required to report on their pavement and bridge conditions by February 1, 2019. Failure to report could result in the county having their state highway funds withheld until their report is received. ODOT has produced an informational brochure on this topic as well as a video to explain the program more. For pavement condition reporting, only federal-aid roads are required. A listing of current federal-aid roads and mile markers (by county) can be downloaded here. Counties must also report conditions for all of their bridges, whether or not they are on federal-aid highways. ODOT maintains this information and will distribute bridge conditions in October that can be used for reporting.
