The Oregon Emergency Management Association is scheduled to hold its annual conference in Bend, Oregon October 9-11, 2018. The association represents county emergency managers and other emergency managers from city government and private industry. The current president is Ed Flick who serves as Marion County’s emergency manager.
Speakers for the conference include: Jim Davidson who will discuss “Resilience: Climbing to Victory by Harnessing Advertisy,” Jaime Baxter with the Oregon Disaster Medical Team, Christopher Godley of Tetra Tech, and Dean Marcum with the Oregon Public Health Authority. The conference also features breakout session tracks for private industry, education and response.
