Legislative deadlines are approaching quickly, and the bill list has narrowed. February 13 was the final first chamber deadline. In order for a bill to have survived the deadline, if a bill was in a policy committee in its chamber of origin, it had to be moved out of committee to the floor, a joint committee, or House and Senate rules or revenue committees by February 13.

Second chamber deadlines will be just around the corner. In their second chamber, remaining bills will have to be scheduled for a work session by February 20, and voted out of committee by February 25 to remain alive.

This deadline does not apply to joint committees, or House and Senate rules or revenue committees.
