Earlier this year, the White House Rural Council partnered with the National Association of Counties to announce the Rural IMPACT County Challenge (RICC) – a call for at least 100 counties to pledge to combat chronic poverty in rural communities. We are just shy of our goal – please be sure to sign up today and help us reach the 100 counties mark!

Counties who have signed up to this challenge will have opportunities to engage with USDA and Administration representatives while learning about grants, technical assistance, and resources available to counties across the country. Additionally, RICC is partnering with other foundations and organizations to create unique resources and opportunities for counties based on the needs identified by participants of the initiative.

Participation, resources and technical assistance are offered at no cost to the county.

If you have not already signed up to participate in the Rural Impact County Challenge, please do so here: Rural Impact County Challenge Hub

Please note that a county resolution is NOT required to participate.

Please sign up today!!!

[Note: for the purposes of this challenge, a rural county is one with a population less than 75,000]
