Gov. Kate Brown nominated veteran Oregon State Trooper Travis Hampton to Superintendent last month. He was confirmed by the State Senate during the September Legislative Committee Days. Hampton was most recently Major of Field Operations and was located in the Central Oregon office.

Hampton began his career as a state police cadet in 1990 and rose up the ranks.

“It is my pledge to maintain the Oregon State Police culture of professionalism, integrity, and collobration, in service to Oregon’s citizens and visitors,” said Hampton.

Hampton is scheduled to be a featured guest at the December AOC Legislative Committee meeting.
