Public Safety and Veterans Steering Committee
The Public Safety and Veterans Steering Committee focuses on issues that affect county governance related to law enforcement, jails, courts, emergency services, community corrections, veterans, and more. Topic areas considered by the committee are diverse, and many overlap with the work of other AOC steering committees. The committee also receives regular updates from affiliate and associate organizations, state agencies, and partner groups.
