Maritime Task Force
Senate Bill 867 creates a task force on the maritime sector focused on workforce development. The bill specifically directs the task force to study and develop the description of the maritime sector and the maritime sector workforce in Oregon. In addition, it directs the task force to develop recommendations to the Legislature and State Workforce Investment Board to incorporate the consideration of the maritime sector into the statewide workforce investment system plan.
