In each session we explore topics and data relevant to Oregon in ways that will be useful to all skill levels. The short format sessions (half hour) are informal with plenty of time for questions.

Education Across the Rural – Urban Divide
Second in our 2016 webinar series, we are going to compare a handful of education measures across metropolitan and non-metropolitan counties in Oregon. We know that the demographics of Oregon are changing rapidly, so we’ll look at diversity in the student population. Resources for education are vital and Oregon has a funding equalization policy. We’ll see how well that policy works for rural students. At the end we will look at the gold standard for K12 education right now: graduation rates. It will be a packed 30 minutes.
