On July 19, the Association of Oregon Counties (AOC) and the League of Oregon Cities (LOC) hosted a broadband webinar for county and city elected officials and staff. Local governments were joined by state and federal broadband partners, including Oregon State Representative Pam Marsh, Oregon Business Development Department Broadband Manager Daniel Holbrook, and United States Department of Agriculture Field Representative John Holman. The webinar covered state and federal legislative updates, broadband funding opportunities, conversations on regional broadband barriers, a showcase of Oregon broadband projects, and included breakout sessions for networking with potential partners.
