The Association of Oregon Counties (AOC) is a 24-member staff of professional employees with broad duties and skill-sets. Each team member helps make AOC the success it is today. Here is an opportunity to meet a member of your AOC team.

Meet AOC Administrative Assistant, Brianna Melhorn

Brianna Melhorn joined the AOC team in November of 2012. In her role as administrative assistant, Brianna performs a number of duties to support AOC, its members, and staff. Her primary duties include assisting with online and in-person registration and event support; office purchasing; database management; publications; and IT support, including posting jobs and committee materials. 

In addition, Brianna provides support to the Oregon County Counsels Association (OCCA) for events and website updates.

Before joining AOC, Brianna worked in an administrative capacity in a variety of different fields for over 20 years, including manufacturing, agricultural, and transportation.

Brianna obtained her general equivalency diploma from Lane Community College, and has taken several classes and online courses for Excel, Adobe Creative Cloud, web support, and graphic design.

AOC Operations Department

Brianna’s position is housed in the operations department of AOC, which is responsible for providing human resources management services, oversight of general operations, and fiscal services.

Outside of AOC

In her free time, Brianna enjoys spending time with her family and doing volunteer work. She loves exploring the vast range of beautiful locations in the Pacific Northwest, especially in rural Oregon.
