The Association of Oregon Counties (AOC) will be holding its 2021 Annual Conference in person in Lane County November 16-18 at the Graduate Hotel.

This year’s conference will feature the AOC President’s Initiative “Reconnect and Rebuild” introduced by AOC President and Coos County Commissioner Melissa Cribbins.

Cribbins’ goal through her initiative is to bridge the gap between the disconnect from a virtual environment. “We gain a lot of value from being together,” said Cribbins. “Counties, our state, and Oregonians have overcome unprecedented and significant challenges, and have new perspectives, tools, and resources. The AOC Annual Conference will highlight some of those experiences and allow members to have forums to connect, share innovative ideas, and partner to rebuild.”

Threaded throughout the conference, Oregon county commissioners, judges, chairs, administrators, and staff; partners; and stakeholders will have opportunities to engage in critical policy discussions and connect with thought leaders from around the State.

Participants can look forward to a dynamic educational experience with content throughout the conference covering a variety of pivotal policy issues from health care to transportation to public safety and what rebuilding our communities might look like.

This three-day conference will also offer opportunities for participants to network with their peers and state and federal leaders, ask questions, learn about AOC’s programs and services, and bring innovative ideas back to their counties.

Information on the conference is available on the AOC website. Registration is expected to launch in August. Room blocks will be released once registration is available.
