Thursday, April 18 is County Health Day. This day celebrates county successes in building a culture of health. Celebrate with National Association of Counties (NACo) by sharing your story. Throughout the day, NACo will be showcasing best practices and innovative county solutions. To learn more about how to participate, click here.

This day also serves as an opportunity to seek continued improvements to overall health in local communities. Each year, The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute collaborate to create a County Health Rankings Report. This comprehensive report takes a deep dive in overall health and what drives health in each county through a variety of measures. Counties can review the rankings and utilize the data to inform health policy options as innovative approaches are shared through fellow NACo members.
